Lakeside Village Garden apartment is a stunningly renovated property - completely unique !!It is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment suitable for up to 4 adults and one child (a child can be accommodated in a foldaway bed or a baby cot). The master bedroom & second bedroom have air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom a window overlooking the lush gardens. The lounge and dining rooms have sliding patio doors leading out to a terrace area ideal for 'alfresco' dining, surrounded by lawns, mature, beautiful plants and palm trees opening out to the stunning views across to the lake and the communal pool.

Outside

There is a large geometric communal swimming pool for both adults and children to enjoy, with surrounding terraces and sunloungers, a café with snacks, children's sweets and ice creams and refreshments. Sunday evening BBQ relaxing under the pine trees are a must!

The property is located beside the Qunita Do Lago Water Sports Centre. Catering for water babies of all ages, the centre offers a terrific range of both lake and beach water sports. Windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and rowing are available on the lake, or try a mini course in sailing, windsurfing or water skiing.

Beach-side water sports range from the challenging to the relaxing. Get your adrenalin going with high-energy sports including parasailing, water skiing and jet skiing or go a little slower on a pedalo. Family beach activities are on offer or try a power boat tour along the coastline.

Local Area

In the apartment there is a folder with information about the local area. Before departure for your holiday we provide an e-book with lots of information about the Algarve and Golden Triangle so you start planning your holiday.

The 'Q Shopping Centre' is a 3 minute drive back to the main entrance of Quinta Do Lago. There there are many exclusive designers shops and some lovely restaurants/cafes, also banks, multibanco machine, pharmacy, newsagent and supermarket. There is also a Italian restaurant called Pizza Pasta Fantasia - that delivers pizza and pasta (and a bottle of wine) to the apartment for those nights that you just can't be bothered to cook.

The local area has a huge variety of activities to interest the whole family. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, champagne cruises, shark and dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and cultural visits.

In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin. There is also an Aqua Park (10 mins drive on the other side of Quarteria) and a Swim With Dolphins experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the motorway).

Faro town is a 15 minute drive. There is a large shopping centre (the Forum) that offers good facilities for supermarket and retail shopping. Faro Old Town has an interesting history and several historic landmarks worth investigating. There is a lovely harbour with restaurants dotted about. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria and Loule both boast excellent markets that sells both fresh produce and local made products.
