The golden sands of Monte Gordo are a 3km drive away. It boasts the largest beach and warmest waters in the Algarve.

Just 0.5km away at the southern end of Vila Real where the river meets the sea is the quiet and beautiful beach of Praia de Santo Antonio reached by a short walk from available parking. With the nature reserve behind, it is an unspoilt haven with far reaching views in all directions.

There are 6 superb golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the apartment. The 2 closest are Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale, both within 10 mins drive.

Travel
Faro is the nearest airport 45 min drive away. Cars can be hired at airport.
Train station 5 minutes walk, trains provide a direct link to Tavira and Faro.
